About the founder
Briana attended the School of Visual Arts and NYU where she received degrees in the fine arts. She directed and curated for prominent art galleries in New York City for over 6 years. During that time she received acknowledgements for her work in: The New York Times, aCurate, Time Out New York, Artslant, Artforum and more.
She moved to Oregon with her wife Lisa in 2015 and they purchased their house in Lake Oswego a year later. In 2016, Briana became Art Curator for the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts, a role she still graciously holds.
Briana grew up with an Irish, (hippie) mother who had an obsession with tea and all things natural healing. Throughout her childhood she was introduced to alternative medicines and a rich education of the benefits of tea.
In 2017 she decided to create a brand that incorporated her passions: art, tea and a drive for a healthy, slower lifestyle.
Additionally, Briana has studied and received certificates in Vendantic Philosophy, Hatha Yoga, Ayurvedic diet, Reiki and Permaculture.
Briana is a proud member and supporter of her local LGBTQ community and promotes diversity in small business, herself being Native American, African American and Irish.
